The Walnut is a 2nd story apartment in downtown Champaign located above the Hounds Rest pub. Please note that guests will need to be able to manage a flight of stairs to access this suite. This suite features 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, and a welcoming living room, totaling approximately 550 sq. ft.

Other Details to Note

PARKING: Overnight parking is available nearby in the Hill Street Parking Deck. (123 W. Hill Street) There is no onsite parking due to the suites being in Downtown Champaign. RATES: $0.75 per hour from 3 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday ($9.75 daytime maximum) No Charge all other times including ALL DAY on Saturdays, Sundays, and City Holidays. No Time Limits! Stay as long as you want and pay upon exit Credit and debit accepted 24/7 at the Exit gates.

Loved everything about this rental. The unit itself, location and Rin was amazing! We had a few issues checking in (our issues) and she was so responsive! Recommend her and her properties. Will definitely use her again in the future!

Absolutely loved my stay at the Walnut this past weekend!! As a solo Female traveler, I am always looking for cozy, peaceful environments that are also safe and very walkable - the Walnut apartment was EXACTLY my taste! Tucked away on the first floor of a delightful historic building in downtown Champaign, the Walnut is an oasis surrounded by the low-key bustle of a college town. I was able to unplug and unwind while also having the convenience to jot down to Esquire for a quick glass of wine. My only concern was that it might be noisy with the nightlife underneath, but it wasn’t at all. Quite the opposite and I was asleep early every night. Having Kopi and Sam’s Cafe right across the street for morning coffee and breakfast was the cherry on top! Highly recommend for solo travelers or couples who want a quaint, very clean and cozy, midwestern downtown experience! I LOVE coming to smaller towns from Vegas and the Walnut was the perfect place for me to stay on my trip to Champaign.
